How it works

1. Activate Pentavus by paying 1 and removing a +1/+1 counter from it, creating a creature token.
2. Activate Thermopod by sacrificing the creature token, adding .
3. When the creature token dies, Lord Feng triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Pentavus.
4. Repeat.

This delightful looping engine turns Pentavus into a self-sustaining resource generator by utilizing its own counters to hatch Pentavite tokens that feed right back into its growth. Thermopod acts as the crucial sacrifice outlet to convert those tokens into the red mana needed to keep the activation cycle running, while simultaneously fulfilling the snow requirement for its own haste ability if needed. Meanwhile, Long Feng, Grand Secretariat watches over the battlefield and capitalizes on every sacrifice, replacing the counters Pentavus spends so the mechanical core never runs dry of fuel.
