How it works
Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Myr Moonvessel, adding CC.
When Myr Moonvessel dies, it triggers twice and Nim Deathmantle triggers once.
Resolve both Myr Moonvessel triggers, adding CC.
Resolve the Nim Deathmantle trigger, causing you to pay 4 to return Myr Moonvessel from your graveyard to the battlefield, and attach Nim Deathmantle to it.
Repeat.
This loop hinges on turning a humble artifact creature into a self-sustaining engine, supercharged by the mechanical amplifier Delney, Streetwise Lookout, whose static ability causes the dying creature's ability to trigger an additional time. By sacrificing Myr Moonvessel to Ashnod's Altar, you generate the raw mana needed to fuel the resurrection loop provided by Nim Deathmantle. Because Myr Moonvessel's death trigger produces even more mana when it dies, the Altar and the Moonvessel comfortably offset the {4} payment required to bring the creature right back to the battlefield with the Deathmantle attached.
