How it works

1. Cast Fire Covenant by 1 and paying an amount of life equal to an opponent's life total, dealing that much damage to Boros Reckoner.
2. Boros Reckoner triggers, dealing that much damage to the opponent.

This clever loop turns your own life total into lethal reach by leveraging the synergy between Boros Reckoner and Fire Covenant. When you cast Fire Covenant, you pay a massive chunk of life to deal that exact amount of damage directly to your own Boros Reckoner.
