How it works
- Cast Cauldron Familiar by paying .
- When Cauldron Familiar enters the battlefield, it triggers.
- Holding priority, cast Worldfire by paying 6, exiling all permanents, all cards in all hands and graveyards, and setting each player's life total to one.
- Resolve the Voldran Epicure trigger from step 2, causing each opponent to lose 1 life and you to gain 1 life.
- Each opponent loses the game due to having 0 or less life.
This clever combination relies on Worldfire to wipe the entire board, hands, and graveyards while dropping every player to a single life point, combined with Hypersonic Dragon's static ability to let you cast that massive sorcery at instant speed. By stacking the stack just right, you cast Cauldron Familiar first so that its entry trigger sits waiting above the world-ending cataclysm. Once Worldfire resolves and resets the board and life totals to one, the lingering Cauldron Familiar trigger finally resolves, instantly draining the last point of life from your opponents before they can even draw a card.
