How it works

1. Activate Yahenni by sacrificing Highspire Artisan.
2. When Highspire Artisan dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
3. When Highspire Artisan enters, its fabricate ability triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
4. Resolve the Yahenni ability.
5. Repeat.

By leveraging the back side of Eirdu, Carrier of Dawn // Isilu, Carrier of Twilight, you grant your other nontoken creatures persist, turning every trip to the graveyard into a cyclical journey. When you sacrifice Highspire Artisan to Yahenni, Undying Partisan, the Artisan's persist ability returns it to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter, while its fabricate ability immediately triggers to place a +1/+1 counter on it. These opposing counters annihilate each other as a state-based action, resetting the Artisan's clean slate so that Yahenni can continuously feed on its repeated sacrifices to generate infinite death, sacrifice, entry, and leave-the-battlefield triggers.
