Breath of Fury + Squee, Dubious Monarch + Cyclops of Eternal Fury
How it works
- Declare the creature with Breath of Fury attached and Squee as attackers.
- Squee triggers, creating a creature token.
- Deal combat damage using the creature that has Breath of Fury attached.
- Breath of Fury triggers, causing you to sacrifice the creature it is attached to, then attach Breath of Fury to the creature token, then causing you to untap all creatures you control and to get an additional combat phase after this one.
- Repeat each combat phase.
This clever loop exploits the continuous pressure of Squee, Dubious Monarch, who brings a fresh 1/1 Goblin token to the battlefield every time he charges into battle. You enchant that expendable token with Breath of Fury, so that when it connects for combat damage, the Aura triggers its sacrifice-and-reattach routine to keep the chain alive while granting you an untap step and an extra combat phase. Meanwhile, Cyclops of Eternal Fury provides the crucial static haste that allows your newly recruited tokens and untapped board to immediately join the fray without missing a beat. By constantly cycling Breath of Fury onto the fresh bodies generated by Squee, Dubious Monarch, you unlock infinite combat phases, endless death and sacrifice triggers, and total victory.
