How it works

1. Cast Twinflame by paying 1, targeting Hellkite Courser.
2. Holding priority, activate Rootha by paying 2 and returning it to your hand, targeting Twinflame.
3. Choose to have Rootha returned to the command zone instead of your hand.
4. Resolve the Rootha ability, copying Twinflame, targeting Hellkite Courser.
5. Resolve the copy of Twinflame, creating a token copy of Hellkite Courser.
6. Hellkite Courser enters the battlefield, putting Rootha from the command zone onto the battlefield.
7. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the Hellkite Courser token, adding CC.
8. Repeat from step 2.

This ingenious loop centers around Rootha, Mercurial Artist endlessly copying Twinflame to flood the battlefield with hasty dragon tokens via Hellkite Courser. Each time a token copy enters, its triggered ability lets you pull Rootha straight out of the command zone and back onto the battlefield to fuel the next cycle. Meanwhile, Ashnod's Altar acts as your economic engine, cleanly sacrificing the Hellkite Courser token to generate the colorless mana needed to activate Rootha's ability over and over again.
