How it works

1. During an opponent's turn, activate Heart of Kiran by tapping Wylie Duke.
2. Wylie Duke triggers, causing you to draw a card and gain 1 life.
3. The Watcher's first ability triggers, creating a 1/1 Tentacle creature token.
4. Resolve the Heart of Kiran ability, causing it to become a creature until end of turn.
5. Activate Umbral Collar Zealot by sacrificing the Tentacle.
6. When the Tentacle dies, The Watcher's second ability triggers, untapping Wylie Duke and putting a stun counter on up to one permanent.
7. Resolve the Umbral Collar Zealot ability
8. Repeat.

This clever loop transforms Wylie Duke, Atiin Hero into a dedicated engine by tapping him to crew Heart of Kiran, which neatly triggers Wylie Duke to draw a card and gain life. Because Runed Stalactite is equipped to Wylie Duke, he counts as every creature type—including a Kraken—allowing him to be legally targeted by his own support network. Each card drawn during the opponent's turn prompts The Watcher in the Water to spawn a 1/1 Tentacle token, which is promptly fed to Umbral Collar Zealot for surveil. When that Tentacle hits the graveyard, The Watcher in the Water's second ability triggers to untap Wylie Duke, resetting the whole cycle for infinite card draw and near-infinite value.
