How it works
During an opponent's turn, activate Heart of Kiran by tapping Wylie Duke.
Wylie Duke triggers, causing you to draw a card and gain 1 life.
The Watcher's first ability triggers, creating a 1/1 Tentacle creature token.
Resolve the Heart of Kiran ability, causing it to become a creature until end of turn.
Activate Carrion Feeder by sacrificing the Tentacle.
When the Tentacle dies, The Watcher's second ability triggers, untapping Wylie Duke and putting a stun counter on up to one permanent.
Resolve the Carrion Feeder ability
Repeat.
This delightful engine transforms Wylie Duke, Atiin Hero into a dedicated pilot for Heart of Kiran, tapping the hero to bypass the crew cost and immediately triggering Wylie's ability to draw a card and gain life. That drawn card during your opponent's turn prompts The Watcher in the Water to spawn a 1/1 Tentacle token, which you can promptly feed to Carrion Feeder to pump its stats. The true alchemy happens when that sacrificed Tentacle triggers The Watcher in the Water's graveyard ability, untapping Wylie Duke so the cycle can begin anew. While Psychic Paper isn't strictly necessary for the loop's core mathematics, it can slide onto your creatures to protect them with ward and manipulate creature types as needed while you churn through your deck.
