How it works

1. Activate Reckoner Bankbuster by paying 2, tapping it, and removing a charge counter from it, causing you to draw a card, create a Treasure artifact token and create a 1/1 Pilot creature token.
2. Activate Coretapper's first ability by tapping it, putting a charge counter on Reckoner Bankbuster.
3. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the Pilot token, adding CC.
4. When the Pilot dies, Coretapper and Reckoner Bankbuster triggers, untapping themselves.
5. Repeat.

This brilliant loop turns Coretapper into an unstoppable engine of perpetual motion by leveraging Phyrexian Metamorph as a clone of Thornbite Staff, allowing Coretapper itself to act as the equipped Shaman that untaps whenever anything dies. As you sacrifice the Pilot token generated by Reckoner Bankbuster to Ashnod's Altar for mana, Thornbite Staff's triggered ability untaps Coretapper and the Bankbuster, which has been constantly refueled by Coretapper's charge counters. This creates a self-sustaining cycle that endlessly filters colorless mana into card draw, infinite Treasure tokens, and infinite deaths.
