How it works

1. Activate Reckoner Bankbuster by paying 2, tapping it, and removing a charge counter from it, causing you to draw a card, create a Treasure artifact token and create a 1/1 Pilot creature token.
2. Activate Coretapper's first ability by tapping it, putting a charge counter on Reckoner Bankbuster.
3. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the Pilot token, adding CC.
4. When the Pilot dies, Coretapper and Reckoner Bankbuster triggers, untapping themselves.
5. Repeat.

This brilliant machinery turns Coretapper into an unending battery by utilizing Masterwork of Ingenuity to copy Thornbite Staff, equipping it to Coretapper so that every death untaps our artificer. As Coretapper taps to place charge counters onto Reckoner Bankbuster, the Bankbuster's activation draws cards and spits out Pilot tokens. Ashnod's Altar then grinds those Pilot tokens down for raw colorless mana, which feeds the cycle while triggering the Staff's untap ability.
