How it works

1. Activate a basic Mountain and Forest by tapping them, adding .
2. Activate Earthcraft twice by tapping Cinderhaze Wretch and Barrenton Medic, untapping the Mountain and Forest.
3. Activate Agatha of the Vile Cauldron by paying at most , giving all other creatures you control +1/+1, trample and haste until end of turn.
4. Activate Cinderhaze Wretch and Barrenton Medic's second abilities by putting a -1/-1 counter on them, untapping them.
5. Repeat.

This fascinating loop turns Agatha of the Vile Cauldron into a bargain-basement engine by leveraging her cost-reduction ability to make her massive stat-boost cheap enough to spam. Earthcraft bridges the gap by letting you tap Cinderhaze Wretch and Barrenton Medic to untap your lands for the necessary mana, while Cinderhaze Wretch and Barrenton Medic then use their own self-untapping -1/-1 counter abilities to reset. Because Agatha keeps feeding your creatures +1/+1 buffs with every iteration, Barrenton Medic and Cinderhaze Wretch easily absorb the accumulating -1/-1 counters to endlessly repeat the cycle, yielding infinitely large creatures with trample and haste.
