How it works

1. Activate Cinderhaze Wretch by tapping it, creating a creature token
2. When the token enters, Rosie triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Cinderhaze Wretch.
3. Activate Cinderhaze Wretch by putting a -1/-1 counter on it, untapping it.
4. Repeat.

This ingenious loop transforms Cinderhaze Wretch into an infinite token factory by exploiting how counters interact on the battlefield. Because Splinter Twin grants the enchanted Cinderhaze Wretch the ability to tap and create token copies of itself, every iteration brings a new copy into play, which in turn triggers Rosie Cotton of South Lane's passive ability to place a +1/+1 counter on the original Cinderhaze Wretch. That newly placed +1/+1 counter then immediately annihilates the -1/-1 counter you just spent to untap Cinderhaze Wretch, resetting its state completely. The result is an endless cascade of creature entering-the-battlefield triggers and an arbitrary number of hasty creature tokens ready to overwhelm your opponents.
