How it works

1. Activate Pili-Pala using Paradise Mantle's ability by tapping it, adding three mana of any color.
2. Activate Pili-Pala's other ability by paying 2 and untapping it, adding three mana of any one color.
3. Repeat.

This brilliant loop relies on the explosive mana-multiplying power of Nyxbloom Ancient to turn Pili-Pala's self-contained untap ability into a net-positive engine. Thanks to Song of Freyalise granting a mana-tapping ability, or simply tapping Pili-Pala for its own colored mana generation, the Ancient triples every piece of mana produced. By spending two of that tripled mana to pay for Pili-Pala's untap cost, you are left with a surplus of mana on every single iteration, generating an infinite supply of colored mana.
