How it works

1. Activate Marvin using Accomplished Alchemist's ability by tapping it, adding at least two mana of any color.
2. Activate Marvin using Pili-Pala's ability by paying 2 and untapping it, adding one mana of any color.
3. Repeat.

This elegant loop turns Marvin, Murderous Mimic into a one-robot mana engine by feeding on the activated abilities of its peers. First, tap Marvin using the borrowed power of Accomplished Alchemist to net at least two mana, fulfilling the activation cost needed for Pili-Pala's untap ability. Then, spend that mana to activate Pili-Pala's ability through Marvin, which untaps Marvin and adds another mana of any color to your pool. By alternating these activations, you generate infinite colored mana right on the spot.
