How it works
- Activate Marvin using Snapping Voidcraw's first ability by tapping it, adding CC.
- Activate Marvin using Pili-Pala's ability by paying 2 and untapping it, adding one mana of any color.
- Repeat.
The magic of this transmutation begins with Marvin, Murderous Mimic, whose ability to copy activated abilities of your other creatures turns it into a one-robot engine. By harnessing Snapping Voidcraw, Marvin gains the power to tap for a pair of colorless mana, providing the raw energy needed to keep the machinery turning. At the same time, Marvin borrows Pili-Pala's untap-and-pay ability, which efficiently converts that generated mana back into an untap while yielding a bonus color of your choice. Because the cost to untap is cheaper than the mana produced by the Voidcraw's tapped state, this loop generates infinite colored and colorless mana, which you can then channel right back into Snapping Voidcraw's final ability to draw your entire deck.
