How it works

  1. Activate a creature by tapping it.
  2. Magda triggers, as the creature is a Dwarf due to Leyline of Transformation, creating a 1/1 Thopter artifact creature token and a Treasure token due to Stridehangar Automaton.
  3. Repeat.

This fascinating loop relies on Leyline of Transformation to paint the entire board with a unified creature type, turning every creature you control into a Dwarf for Magda, Brazen Outlaw. Once they are Dwarves, Citanul Hierophants allows them to tap themselves for mana, which cleanly triggers Magda to generate a Treasure token. Because Stridehangar Automaton acts as a powerful replacement effect, every time that Treasure is created, you also score an additional 1/1 Thopter artifact creature token. Those fresh Thopters immediately join the choir thanks to Citanul Hierophants, letting you tap them right back into the engine to flood the board with infinite tokens and mana, which you can then cash out through Magda, Brazen Outlaw to tutor up Dragonlord Kolaghan and close out the game.
