How it works

1. Activate Ant Queen by paying 1, creating two 1/1 Insect creature tokens.
2. Activate two Insects by tapping them, adding 1.
3. Repeat.

This lovely little swarm engine turns a simple queen into an endless wave of buzzing insects by weaponizing your entire board's tapping potential. With Cryptolith Rite granting every creature you control the ability to tap for mana, the freshly summoned bugs immediately pay for their own mother's activation costs. Meanwhile, Parallel Lives acts as a wonderful multiplier, doubling the token output of Ant Queen so that every single loop yields a net profit of mana and bodies. Even though Dragonlord Kolaghan doesn't actively tap or make tokens in the loop, its presence ensures that your massive, infinitely generated army arrives with haste or tactical advantage in Commander and beyond.
