How it works

1. Activate Gyre Engineer by tapping it, adding .
2. Cast Wirewood Symbiote by paying .
3. Activate Mirror Entity by paying 1, giving creatures you control all creature types and base power and toughness 1/1 until end of turn.
4. Activate Wirewood Symbiote by returning it from the battlefield to your hand, untapping Gyre Engineer.
5. Repeat.

This clever little engine turns Wirewood Symbiote's self-bounce into a continuous loop by using Mirror Entity to grant every creature type to all your creatures—including the Symbiote itself, which counts as an Elf under that effect. With that changeling typing active, you can bounce Wirewood Symbiote to its own ability, resetting its restriction while simultaneously untapping Gyre Engineer to fund the mana needed to recast it. Gyre Engineer provides the exact green and blue mana required to repeat this process indefinitely, letting you recast the Symbiote endlessly to trigger infinite leaves-the-battlefield events, enters-the-battlefield triggers, and a massive storm count.
