How it works

1. Activate Jade Mage by paying 2, creating three 1/1 Saproling creature tokens.
2. Activate the Saprolings by tapping them, adding 2.
3. Repeat.

This delightful loop relies on Jade Mage to continually pump out creature tokens, but the true engine of the transformation is Ojer Taq, Deepest Foundation, which triples every single token you create into a flood of Saprolings. Because those tokens inherit haste from Roar of Resistance and immediately gain the ability to tap for mana thanks to Insidious Roots, the mana they produce effortlessly covers the activation cost to keep the cycle spinning. As you repeat this process, Insidious Roots also rewards every graveyard transition by growing a massive army of Plant tokens adorned with +1/+1 counters, turning a simple mana-and-token loop into an overwhelming board state.
