How it works

1. Activate Experiment Kraj using Walking Atlas's ability by tapping it, putting a land from your hand onto the battlefield.
2. If the land is mana-producing and enters the battlefield untapped, you may activate it by tapping it, adding at least 1.
3. Activate Experiment Kraj using Trench Behemoth's ability by returning the land from the battlefield to your hand, untapping Experiment Kraj.
4. Repeat.

This ingenious loop transforms Experiment Kraj into an ultimate engine by letting it borrow the abilities of its peers. With a +1/+1 counter on Walking Atlas, the Ooze can tap to drop lands directly onto the battlefield, while borrowing Trench Behemoth's activation allows it to bounce those very same lands right back to your hand to untap itself. Because Trench Behemoth's untap cost simply requires returning a land you control, you can endlessly repeat this bounce-and-drop cycle to generate infinite landfall triggers and as much mana as your lands can produce.
