How it works

1. Activate Bloodsoaked Champion by paying 1, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield.
2. Activate Phantom Train by sacrificing Bloodsoaked Champion.
3. When Bloodsoaked Champion is sacrificed, Szarel triggers, putting a number of +1/+1 counters equal to Szarel's power on Crystalline Crawler.
4. Resolve the Phantom Train ability.
5. Activate Crystalline Crawler twice by removing two +1/+1 counters from it, adding 1.
6. Repeat.

This clever loop sets up an endless engine of sacrifice and resurrection, fueled by the relentless return of Bloodsoaked Champion from your graveyard. Phantom Train acts as the sacrificial outlet, feeding the Champion to itself while continuously growing with +1/+1 counters. Every time the Champion hits the graveyard, Szarel, Genesis Shepherd notices the sacrifice and uses its power to pump massive amounts of +1/+1 counters straight onto Crystalline Crawler. Finally, those accumulated counters are cashed in via Crystalline Crawler's mana ability to fund the next iteration of the Champion's raid cost, leaving you with infinite mana, triggers, and growth.
