How it works

1. Activate Phantom Train by sacrificing Bloodsoaked Champion.
2. When Bloodsoaked Champion dies, Pitiless Plunderer and Abzan Ascendancy trigger, creating a creature token and a Treasure token.
3. Resolve the Phantom Train ability.
4. Activate Phantom Train by sacrificing the creature token.
5. When the creature token dies, Pitiless Plunderer triggers, creating a Treasure token.
6. Resolve the Phantom Train ability.
7. Activate the Treasures by tapping and sacrificing them, adding 1.
8. Activate Bloodsoaked Champion by paying 1, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield.
9. Repeat.

This clever loop feeds on endless recycling to grow a relentless board state, powered by the constant death and rebirth of Bloodsoaked Champion. Because Abzan Ascendancy rewards every nontoken creature's demise with a flying Spirit token, and Pitiless Plunderer converts *any* creature's death into a precious Treasure token, you are constantly generating the raw materials needed to fuel Phantom Train. You simply feed the Champion—and subsequently the Spirit tokens—to Phantom Train's sacrifice ability, turning those deaths into growing +1/+1 counters while the Treasures pay the {1}{B} cost to bring Bloodsoaked Champion back via its Raid ability.
