How it works

1. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Bloodsoaked Champion, adding .
2. Activate Bloodsoaked Champion by paying 1, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield.
3. Insidious Roots triggers, creating a creature token and putting a +1/+1 counter on each Plant you control.
4. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing the creature token, adding 1.
5. Repeat.

This elegant little loop turns Bloodsoaked Champion into an endless engine of sacrifice and resurrection, utilizing Phyrexian Altar to feed the Champion's own raid cost while profiting mana along the way. Every single time the Champion leaves the graveyard, Insidious Roots triggers to weave a growing army of Plant tokens, which can either tap for mana using the Plant's granted ability or be sacrificed to the Altar themselves. As the cycle repeats, Insidious Roots continuously pumps +1/+1 counters onto your burgeoning greenery, compounding your board presence into an unstoppable swarm of endless death and entry triggers.
