How it works

1. Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing Bloodsoaked Champion.
2. When Bloodsoaked Champion dies, Pitiless Plunderer and Zahur trigger, creating a creature token and a Treasure token.
3. Resolve the Altar of Dementia ability.
4. Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing the creature token.
5. When the creature token dies, Pitiless Plunderer triggers, creating a Treasure token.
6. Resolve the Altar of Dementia ability.
7. Activate the Treasures by tapping and sacrificing them, adding 1.
8. Activate Bloodsoaked Champion by paying 1, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield.
9. Repeat.

This clever loop uses Altar of Dementia to continually sacrifice Bloodsoaked Champion, grinding away your opponent's library while fueling Pitiless Plunderer to generate a steady stream of Treasure tokens. Those Treasures provide the exact mana needed to pay Bloodsoaked Champion's raid cost, bringing it straight back from the graveyard to keep the cycle turning. Meanwhile, Zahur, Glory's Past acts as a powerful enabler when your max speed is reached, replacing your fallen champions with tapped 2/2 black Zombie creature tokens that can be fed right back into the Altar for even more mill power.
