How it works

1. Declare Armory Automaton as an attacker.
2. Armory Automaton triggers, attaching Assimilation Aegis to it.
3. Assimilation Aegis' second ability triggers, causing Armory Automaton to become a copy of Medomai the Ageless.
4. Deal combat damage with Armory Automaton.
5. Armory Automaton triggers, causing you to take an extra turn after this one.
6. Move to your next turn.
7. Activate Assimilation Aegis' equip ability by paying 2, attaching it to any other creature.
8. Assimilation Aegis' second ability triggers, causing the creature to become a copy of Medomai the Ageless.
9. Repeat.

This clever loop completely sidesteps Medomai the Ageless's restriction against attacking during extra turns by never actually using Medomai itself as the attacker. Instead, Armory Automaton takes to the skies, triggering its own ability to snatch up Assimilation Aegis the moment it enters or attacks. Because Assimilation Aegis turns the Automaton into a copy of Medomai the Ageless upon attachment, every successful combat damage step grants you an extra turn. Finally, paying to move Assimilation Aegis to another creature temporarily resets the Automaton so you can repeat the process on the next loop without getting locked out of future attacks.
