How it works

1. Activate the creature with Crab Umbra attached using Tolarian Academy's ability by tapping it, adding at least .
2. Activate Crab Umbra by paying 2, untapping the creature.
3. Repeat.

This vintage-legal engine transforms a single creature into a massive mana-producing powerhouse by tapping into the sheer destructive potential of Tolarian Academy. To set the stage, Steward of the Harvest must first enter the battlefield to exile that Academy from your graveyard, granting the creature all of the land's formidable activated abilities. With Crab Umbra enchanted to this hybrid creature, you can repeatedly tap it to generate blue mana based on your artifact count, then spend a portion of that mana to activate the Aura's untap ability. As long as you control enough artifacts to net a profit on each iteration, this recursive loop yields an infinite supply of blue mana.
