How it works

1. Activate Survey Mechan by sacrificing it.
2. When Survey Mechan dies, Mortuary triggers, putting Survey Mechan from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
3. Skeleton Crew triggers, creating three creature tokens.
4. Resolve the Survey Mechan ability, dealing 3 damage to any target and causing you to draw three cards and gain 3 life.
5. Activate Ashnod's Altar twice by sacrificing the two creature tokens, adding CCCC.
6. Cast Survey Mechan by paying 4.
7. Repeat.

This loop creates a marvelous self-sustaining engine built around Survey Mechan, whose massive activation cost is entirely offset by having a full suite of differently named lands in play. When you sacrifice Survey Mechan, Mortuary instantly intercepts it on the way to the graveyard to tuck it neatly back onto the top of your library, while Skeleton Crew watches that card leave the graveyard to flood your board with a trio of fresh Skeleton Pirate tokens thanks to Ojer Taq, Deepest Foundation tripling your token generation. Those tokens can then be promptly fed to Ashnod's Altar to generate the colorless mana needed to recast Survey Mechan from the top of your library, letting you repeat the sequence to draw your entire deck, gain infinite life, and blast any target for infinite damage.
