How it works

1. Defeat Invasion of Amonkhet
2. Invasion of Amonkhet triggers, causing you to exile it, and return it to the battlefield transformed as Lazotep Convert.
3. Choose to have Lazotep Convert enter the battlefield as a copy of Ojer Taq that is a 4/4 Zombie.
4. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Lazotep Convert, adding CC.
5. When Lazotep Convert dies, it triggers, causing you to exile it, and return it to the battlefield transformed as Lazotep Convert.
6. Choose to have Lazotep Convert enter the battlefield as a copy of Ojer Taq that is a 4/4 Zombie.
7. Repeat from step 4.

This clever loop transforms a single permanent into an endless engine of sacrifice and resurrection. Once Invasion of Amonkhet is defeated and cast as Lazotep Convert, it enters the battlefield copying Ojer Taq, Deepest Foundation—benefiting from Ojer Taq's incredible replacement effect that triples any creature tokens created under your control, even if this particular sequence doesn't strictly need extra tokens to start its infinite mana loop. By feeding this legendary copy directly into Ashnod's Altar, you generate a surplus of colorless mana while sending Ojer Taq to the graveyard. That death triggers Ojer Taq's own ability, returning it to the battlefield transformed as Temple of Civilization, which immediately flips back into Invasion of Amonkhet (or rather, resets the Siege's transformed half) to begin the cycle anew, letting you repeat the process endlessly.
