How it works

1. Defeat Invasion of Amonkhet
2. Invasion of Amonkhet triggers, causing you to exile it, and return it to the battlefield transformed as Lazotep Convert.
3. Choose to have Lazotep Convert enter the battlefield as a copy of Ojer Taq that is a 4/4 Zombie.
4. Activate Carrion Feeder by sacrificing Lazotep Convert.
5. When Lazotep Convert dies, it triggers, causing you to exile it, and return it to the battlefield transformed as Lazotep Convert.
6. Choose to have Lazotep Convert enter the battlefield as a copy of Ojer Taq that is a 4/4 Zombie.
7. Resolve the Carrion Feeder ability, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
8. Repeat from step 4.

This clever looping mechanism relies on the unique way clone effects interact with death triggers. When Invasion of Amonkhet is defeated and casts itself transformed as Lazotep Convert, it enters the battlefield as a copy of Ojer Taq, Deepest Foundation. Because Lazotep Convert is fundamentally the same physical card that just died, sacrificing it to Carrion Feeder triggers its own return ability, allowing it to re-enter the battlefield and immediately copy Ojer Taq, Deepest Foundation all over again.
