How it works

1. Cast Shimmering Wings by paying , targeting any creature you control.
2. Alela triggers, creating three 1/1 Faerie creature tokens with flying.
3. Activate Phyrexian Altar twice by sacrificing two Faerie tokens, adding .
4. Activate Shimmering Wings by paying , returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop turns a modest self-bouncing Aura into an engine of absolute abundance by leveraging the explosive token multiplication of Ojer Taq, Deepest Foundation. Whenever you cast Shimmering Wings, Alela, Artful Provocateur catches the spell and tries to make a Faerie, but Ojer Taq steps in to triple the output into a trio of flying tokens. You can then feed two of those newly minted Faeries to Phyrexian Altar to generate the exact blue mana needed to bounce Shimmering Wings right back to your hand with its own activation. Since the loop yields more mana and tokens than it costs to repeat, you can cycle Shimmering Wings infinitely to flood the board and generate boundless resources.
