How it works

  1. Activate Triskelavus by paying 1 and removing a +1/+1 counter from it, creating two 1/1 Triskelavite tokens.
  2. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing a Triskelavite token, adding CC.
  3. Activate the other Triskelavite token by sacrificing it, dealing 1 damage to any target and causing you to gain 1 life.
  4. Heliod triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Triskelavus.
  5. Repeat.

This ingenious loop transforms Triskelavus into an absolute engine by leveraging token doublers and divine intervention. By paying to shave a +1/+1 counter off Triskelavus, Anointed Procession steps in to double your production into two Triskelavite artifact creature tokens instead of one. Ashnod's Altar immediately recycles the first token for a pair of colorless mana to keep the activation cost flowing, while True Conviction grants those tokens lifelink so that sacrificing the second token to deal 1 damage triggers actual life gain. That life gain awakens Heliod, Sun-Crowned, whose static trigger immediately replaces the counter you just spent on Triskelavus, leaving you with infinite colorless mana, infinite damage, and a continuously churning apparatus.
