How it works

1. Gain any amount of life.
2. Heliod triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Scurry Oak.
3. Scurry Oak triggers, creating a 1/1 Squirrel creature token.
4. When the Squirrel enters the battlefield, Ajani's Welcome triggers, causing you to gain 1 life.
5. Repeat.

This loop is a masterclass in perpetual motion, fueled entirely by how seamlessly these three pieces feed into one another's triggers. It all kicks off when any initial life gain triggers Heliod, Sun-Crowned, letting you place a +1/+1 counter directly onto Scurry Oak. That counter placement then triggers Scurry Oak's ability to manufacture a 1/1 green Squirrel token. The arrival of that new token immediately trips Ajani's Welcome, granting you 1 life, which cycles right back to awaken Heliod, Sun-Crowned and start the whole chain anew.
