How it works

1. Activate Gnostro by tapping it, causing you to gain at least 1 life.
2. Heliod triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Crystalline Crawler.
3. Activate Crystalline Crawler's first ability by removing a +1/+1 counter from it, adding .
4. Activate Pemmin's Aura's first ability by paying , untapping Gnostro.
5. Repeat.

By tapping Gnostro, Voice of the Crags, you trigger its ability to grant you life, which immediately awakens Heliod, Sun-Crowned's passive gift of placing a +1/+1 counter onto Crystalline Crawler whenever you gain life. Crystalline Crawler then converts that very counter back into blue mana using its mana-generating ability, perfectly fueling the untap cost of Pemmin's Aura enchanted to Gnostro. Because Pemmin's Aura keeps untapping Gnostro, Voice of the Crags over and over, you can endlessly cycle through these steps to achieve infinite lifegain and trigger loops in Commander, Legacy, Oathbreaker, and Vintage.
