How it works

1. Activate Kwain by tapping it, causing you to draw a card and gain 1 life, and allowing each opponent to draw a card and gain 1 life.
2. Heliod triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Crystalline Crawler.
3. Activate Crystalline Crawler's first ability by removing a +1/+1 counter from it, adding .
4. Activate Freed from the Real's second ability by paying , untapping Kwain.
5. Repeat.

This loop transforms Kwain, Itinerant Meddler into a perpetual motion machine by turning its life-gain trigger into fuel for Crystalline Crawler's mana production. Every time Kwain taps to draw cards and grant life, Heliod, Sun-Crowned triggers to place a fresh +1/+1 counter back onto the Crawler. You then strip that counter away to pay for Freed from the Real's untap ability, freeing Kwain to activate again while leaving enough leftover energy to keep the cycle going.
