How it works

1. Activate Bloodflow Connoisseur by sacrificing Kitchen Finks.
2. When Kitchen Finks dies, its persist ability triggers, returning Kitchen Finks from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
3. When Kitchen Finks enters the battlefield, it triggers, causing you to gain 2 life.
4. Heliod triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Kitchen Finks.
5. Resolve the Bloodflow Connoisseur ability.
6. Repeat.

This elegant loop relies on Kitchen Finks repeatedly dying and returning to the battlefield via its persist mechanic, which is immediately fueled by Bloodflow Connoisseur's free sacrifice outlet. Every time Kitchen Finks enters the battlefield, you gain 2 life, which triggers Heliod, Sun-Crowned's passive ability to place a +1/+1 counter on a creature. Because state-based actions cause the incoming +1/+1 counter and the existing -1/+1 counter to cancel each other out, Kitchen Finks is left completely clear of counters and ready to be sacrificed all over again.
