How it works

1. Activate Staff of Domination's second ability by paying 2 and tapping it, causing you to gain 1 life.
2. Heliod and Spider-Man trigger, putting two +1/+1 counters on Cryptic Trilobite.
3. Activate Cryptic Trilobite twice by removing two +1/+1 counters from it, adding CCCC that can only be spent to activate abilities.
4. Activate Staff of Domination's first ability by paying 1, untapping it.
5. Repeat.

This ingenious loop hinges on Staff of Domination acting as both the engine and the ultimate payoff, since its ability to gain life triggers both Heliod, Sun-Crowned and Spider-Man, Peter Parker simultaneously. As those life-gain triggers resolve, they place fresh +1/+1 counters back onto Cryptic Trilobite, replenishing its fuel source so you can continually strip away those counters for restricted ability-only mana. That generated mana effortlessly pays to untap Staff of Domination, leaving you with leftover resources to eventually draw your entire deck, gain infinite life, and tap down the entire board.
