How it works

1. Gain life.
2. Heliod triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Herd Baloth.
3. Herd Baloth triggers, creating a creature token.
4. When the creature token enters the battlefield, Kor Celebrant triggers, causing you to gain 1 life.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop transforms a single instance of life gain into an endless cascade of creature tokens and counters by creating a self-sustaining cycle between Heliod, Sun-Crowned, Herd Baloth, and Kor Celebrant. Once Heliod grants a +1/+1 counter to Herd Baloth, the Baloth’s triggered ability creates a 4/4 green Beast creature token, which in turn causes Kor Celebrant to trigger upon entering the battlefield. That life gain loops right back into Heliod to continuously restart the whole sequence.
