How it works

  1. Gain life.
  2. Heliod triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Herd Baloth.
  3. Herd Baloth triggers, creating a creature token and an artifact token.
  4. When the artifact token enters the battlefield, Arbaaz Mir triggers, dealing 1 damage to each opponent and causing you to gain 1 life.
  5. Repeat from step 2.

This loop transforms any initial burst of lifegain into an unstoppable engine of growth and damage, anchored by Heliod, Sun-Crowned turning life into +1/+1 counters. Those counters feed Herd Baloth, whose triggered ability creates a Beast token alongside the extra Food token generated courtesy of Peregrin Took's replacement effect. Because artifacts are historic, every single token entry triggers Arbaaz Mir to ping your opponents and feed life right back into Heliod, Sun-Crowned to keep the cycle spinning. Once your board is flooded with infinite creatures, Food tokens, and triggers, Peregrin Took's activated ability steps in to let you cash in those extra Foods for an infinite card draw.
