How it works

1. Gain life.
2. Heliod triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Scurry Oak.
3. Scurry Oak triggers, creating a creature token.
4. When the creature token enters the battlefield, Answered Prayers triggers, causing you to gain 1 life.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This brilliant loop transforms a single instance of lifegain into an endlessly self-sustaining engine, fueled by the permanent boosts from Heliod, Sun-Crowned. Whenever you gain life, Heliod places a +1/+1 counter on Scurry Oak, which in turn triggers to create a Squirrel token. The arrival of that new token causes Answered Prayers to trigger and hand you another point of life, feeding right back into Heliod, Sun-Crowned to repeat the process indefinitely.
