How it works
- Activate Workhorse using Pack Rat' ability by paying 3 and discarding a card, creating a token copy of it.
- When the Workhorse token enters the battlefield, Elemental Bond triggers, causing you to draw a card.
- Activate the Workhorse token three times by removing three +1/+1 counters from it, adding CCC.
- Repeat.
By exiling Workhorse with Agatha's Soul Cauldron, its activated mana-producing ability is granted to any of your creatures bearing a +1/+1 counter. This transforms Pack Rat's token-making ability into a self-sustaining engine, since the tokens entering the battlefield are copies of Pack Rat that inherit this activated ability and can immediately remove their own counters to fund the next copy. As this swarm of rats multiplies, Elemental Bond steps in to harvest every new arrival with power 3 or greater, turning your infinite token loop into an unstoppable card-drawing machine.
