How it works

1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Su-Chi, adding CC.
2. When Su-Chi dies, it triggers, adding CCCC.
3. Activate Chainer by paying 3 and 3 life, returning Su-Chi to the battlefield from your graveyard.
4. When Su-Chi enters the battlefield, Trostani triggers, causing you to gain life equal to Su-Chi's toughness.
5. Repeat.

This loop is a masterclass in recycling a single artifact to generate a massive surplus of resources, with Chromatic Orrery sitting comfortably on the board to let you spend your generic mana as though it were any color. You begin by feeding Su-Chi to Ashnod's Altar for colorless mana, which immediately triggers Su-Chi's own death ability to flood your pool with even more mana. With those funds secured, Chainer, Dementia Master steps in to resurrect Su-Chi from the graveyard by paying three life and turning it into a black Nightmare—a transformation fully supported by Chainer's passive buff. Every time Su-Chi re-enters the battlefield, Trostani, Selesnya's Voice triggers to cushion your life total based on Su-Chi's toughness, letting you safely fuel Chainer's ability over and over again to keep the cycle going indefinitely.
