How it works

1. Activate Thermopod's second ability by sacrificing Su-Chi, adding .
2. When Su-Chi dies, it triggers, adding CCCC.
3. Activate Chainer by paying 3 and 3 life, returning Su-Chi to the battlefield from your graveyard.
4. When Su-Chi enters the battlefield, Trostani triggers, causing you to gain life equal to Su-Chi's toughness.
5. Repeat.

This loop is a masterclass in recycling through sacrifice, turning Chainer, Dementia Master into an engine that endlessly resurrects Su-Chi directly from your graveyard. Each time Su-Chi hits the graveyard, Thermopod converts it into both red mana and the crucial four colorless mana from Su-Chi's own death trigger, more than paying for Chainer's reanimation cost while feeding right back into the engine. Meanwhile, Trostani, Selesnya's Voice sits on the board silently reaping life from every single one of Su-Chi's repeated returns, turning a mana-positive resurrection loop into an unyielding stream of life.
