How it works

1. Activate Chromatic Orrery's first ability by tapping it, adding 5.
2. Activate Clock of Omens by tapping Basalt Monolith and Soliton, untapping Chromatic Orrery.
3. Activate Soliton by paying 1, untapping it.
4. Activate Basalt Monolith's second ability by paying 3, untapping it.
5. Repeat.
6. Once you have infinite mana, you may use it to activate Basalt Monolith's other abilities and/or untap any artifact(s) you control.

This engine turns the sheer productive power of Chromatic Orrery and Basalt Monolith into a self-sustaining loop by using Clock of Omens to untap your mana sources. Since Chromatic Orrery naturally allows you to spend your mana as though it were any color, the heavy investment needed to keep Soliton active and untap Basalt Monolith is easily paid. Soliton acts as the crucial biological bridge for the Clock, letting you trade a small piece of your floating mana to continuously refresh your artifacts and draw through your entire deck.
