How it works

1. Cast Lunarch Veteran from your graveyard for its disturb cost by paying 2, causing it to enter the battlefield transformed as Luminous Phantom.
2. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Luminous Phantom, adding 2.
3. Because Dress Down causes Luminous Phantom to lose all abilities, it is not exiled when it is sacrificed, and is returned to your graveyard as Lunarch Veteran.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop leverages **Dress Down**'s continuous rules modification to neutralize the self-exiling restriction printed on **Lunarch Veteran**'s back face, **Luminous Phantom**. While **Dress Down** strips away all abilities from your creatures, sacrificing **Luminous Phantom** to **Ashnod's Altar** sends it straight back to the graveyard as **Lunarch Veteran** instead of exile, providing the mana needed to recast it via disturb. Because **Chromatic Orrery** allows you to spend mana as though it were any color, you can freely channel the generic mana generated by the Altar to fuel this endless cycle. This creates a perpetual engine for infinite storm count, enter-the-battlefield, leave-the-battlefield, and sacrifice triggers, while triggering **Lunarch Veteran** and **Luminous Phantom**'s life-gaining abilities along the way.
