How it works

1. Animate Chromatic Orrery using The Blackstaff of Waterdeep.
2. Activate Chromatic Orrery by tapping it, adding CCCCC
3. Activate Voltaic Construct by paying 2, untapping Chromatic Orrery.
4. Repeat from step 2.

By using The Blackstaff of Waterdeep to animate Chromatic Orrery into a 4/4 artifact creature, we set up a clever loop where the Orrery can tap to produce five generic mana. Voltaic Construct steps in to convert two of that mana into an untap for the now-creature Chromatic Orrery, netting three extra mana each cycle. Because Chromatic Orrery's passive ability lets us spend that mana as though it were any color, this engine easily fuels infinite colored and colorless mana. From there, you can pour that infinite mana right back into Chromatic Orrery's activated ability to draw your entire deck.
