How it works

1. Animate Chromatic Orrery using Karn.
2. Activate Chromatic Orrery by tapping it, adding CCCCC
3. Activate Voltaic Construct by paying 2, untapping Chromatic Orrery.
4. Repeat from step 2.

This brilliant engine transforms our mana rocks into a self-sustaining powerhouse by letting Karn, Silver Golem temporarily animate Chromatic Orrery into an artifact creature. Once it's alive, tapping the Orrery yields five mana, which easily funds the activation cost of Voltaic Construct to untap it for a net gain of three mana each loop. Because Chromatic Orrery also grants the ability to spend that mana as though it were any color, you can filter your infinite colorless surplus into infinite colored mana, and eventually sink it into the Orrery's own activated ability to draw your entire deck.
