How it works

1. Animate Chromatic Orrery using Workshop Elders.
2. Activate Chromatic Orrery by tapping it, adding CCCCC
3. Activate Voltaic Construct by paying 2, untapping Chromatic Orrery.
4. Repeat from step 2.

By utilizing Workshop Elders to turn Chromatic Orrery into an artifact creature, you lay the crucial groundwork for an engine fueled by both artifacts' innate abilities. Tapping the animated Chromatic Orrery generates a massive surplus of five colorless mana, which easily covers the activation cost of Voltaic Construct while leaving plenty of profit behind. You then use a sliver of that mana to activate Voltaic Construct, untapping the Orrery so the loop can begin anew. Thanks to Chromatic Orrery's continuous ability letting you spend your mana as any color, this recursive loop effortlessly yields infinite mana of any color to power the rest of your strategy.
