How it works

1. Animate Chromatic Orrery using Karn, the Great Creator.
2. Activate Chromatic Orrery by tapping it, adding CCCCC
3. Activate Voltaic Construct by paying 2, untapping Chromatic Orrery.
4. Repeat from step 2.

By using Karn, the Great Creator to turn Chromatic Orrery into an artifact creature, we set the stage for a wonderful loop fueled by Voltaic Construct. Tapping the animated Orrery generates five generic mana, which more than covers the two generic mana required to untap it with the Construct's ability—leaving you with a net profit of three colorless mana each cycle. Meanwhile, Chromatic Orrery's continuous ability allows you to spend that mana as though it were any color, completely opening up your options. It is a delightfully streamlined engine that turns simple untap loops into infinite resources.
