How it works

  1. Activate Chromatic Orrery's first ability by tapping it, adding 5.
  2. Activate Master Transmuter by paying 1, tapping it and returning Corridor Monitor to your hand, putting Corridor Monitor from your hand onto the battlefield.
  3. Corridor Monitor enters the battlefield, triggering itself and Mirrorworks.
  4. Resolve the Mirrorworks trigger, causing you to pay 2 to create a token copy of Corridor Monitor.
  5. The Corridor Monitor token enters the battlefield, untapping Master Transmuter.
  6. Activate Master Transmuter by paying 1, tapping it and returning Chromatic Orrery to your hand, putting Chromatic Orrery from your hand onto the battlefield.
  7. Chromatic Orrery enters the battlefield, triggering Mirrorworks; choose not to pay for the trigger.
  8. Resolve the Corridor Monitor trigger from step 3, untapping Master Transmuter.
  9. Repeat.
